Sabbath evening - the enclosed ought to have been carried to [you?] today, but I forgot to give it to Theodore. As Theophilus is going tomorrow to Cabotville to make a market for his work, I shall send it to the Post Office by him. We are exceedingly sorry to hear of Hannah's misfortunes, God grant that this evil consequence may not be lasting. The sermon you sent - "the great conflict of the day" seemed highly acceptable as such things you know always are. If my suggestions about matters have induced you to address them - I feel much pleased - if your effort proves beneficial - we will give the glory to him who only can give success even to Paul or Apollos -
