An exhibit of primary documents and annotated transcriptions from the papers of the Porter-Phelps-Huntington Family of Hadley Massachusetts. The Porter-Phelps-Huntington Family Papers are housed at University of Massachusetts Special Collections and University Archives. Stretching from 1698 to 1968 and containing letters, diaries, account books, deeds, and many other documents, the collection records the history of eight generations of a single extended family as well as evidence of the lives of the many diverse people who worked at this farmstead.

More information about this historic farmstead is available at the Porter-Phelps-Huntington Museum.

Begun in 2012, this project is an ongoing collaboration between the Porter-Phelps-Huntington Foundation, University of Massachusetts Special Collections and University Archives,Amherst College Archives and Special Collections, and the Amherst College American Studies Course "Global Valley."
