The fictional publication, Chit Chat, is a compilation of stories, musings, poetry, and paracosmic advertisements for the Nelson brothers’ other books and publications. The periodical meant "for the boys and girls" is published by William Little and Ethan Allen and serves as one of the most comprehensive publications in the Nelson Brothers' collection. Many stories in Chit Chat are released by chapter installments in separate publications, persuading readers to purchase the next issue in order to complete the story.
