HISTORY OF LONG CONTINENT

In the sixte 16 centery when the Black Archapeligo folks were peopling Big Continent alot of ships lost their way and came on to Long and Round Continent hear twas quite fertile and nice the nation that was a Indians were quite peaceable at first. But as John Little came thare they began to thing [sic] of getting rid of the whit [page break] es so one knight made and atack on the settlements but the dogs kept barking and so woke up the inhabertance and they drove away the Indians then John Little took a party and started [page break] exploring they now started from Brush Wood at the southern end but on the acondt of their kind of clothes they wore they could not get along very well they discovered a low range of mountains namely Sandy Mountains then they came into another great forest this they named Hulkton but soon they they [sic] got to ariver they had just go their canoes made when they saw a panther [page break] they all jumped in their canose and paddled away as fast as they could and got a way so they named it Escape River but they saw a storm comeing up so they went back they left all the men but [page break] John Little and two at a palce named Little Villiage then John went back and setn one hundred to Little Villiage and then called it Little City then John Little died age 89 and his honest son William Little was elected president he then gave a land to a ladie named Florance Lear it was named Furndale then up a bove it was a country that William Little named Rock Bun this was a rocky land [page break] now Poplington on Big Continent was what William Little wanted so he put of in a ship he landed and stayed thare a little while then a man named Bill Poroncho atacked William Little but William drove him back this excited Eathan Allen and so the next day Eathan made an atack on William William was drove back into his ship and drove back with shame and scorn William Litles ship most sank but he got to an island first and so every body was saved they made another ship and got [page break]

home again but now William Little was not satisfied he went over to Round Continent and got Birt Green and three thousand soldiers then William Little and four thousand men started with Birt Green and his men to a talk Poplington but Eathan Allen met them first the Long Continenters drove Eathan Allen but Birt had his horse shot under him and then Eathan Allens men drove William forty Big con [page break]

Contineners were shot and one hundred of Wills and Birts men shot then again the Long Continenters drove the Big Continenters for Will and Bert had seven thousand and Eathan Allen only fore thousand but a gain they rushed at each other but the Long and Round Continenters could not stand any more so they broke and fled for the ship they got in and went of[f] amids the shouts [page break] of hurah for Eathan Allen has beat William Little sailed back to his land then he thought he would capture Popli Grassington he took alot of men and atacked Granute Fort on Bay Point the canons stoned at them but they climbed up up till they stood on top of Granite Hill they rushe against the door and was for capturing it when Eathan Allens men opened fire on them and they were drove away amidst [page break] of hurah for Eathan Allen for he had beat [page break] then Eath William Little began to think he was getting beat in every battle he then tried to atack Picnic City but the barking of the dogs betrayed him and he was driven away [page break] William Little is liveing now and Long Continent is one of the most flourishing continents
